Rules for Participants

This may sound a bit boring, but we need to inform everyone that our event has rules that everyone should know and follow, to ensure that everyone will have a good experience to take home. If violated, the organizing team reserves the right to remove you from the event or, in severe cases, ban you from attending future events.

General Rules

  1. SiamPaws is organized at The Emerald Hotel. Participants must adhere to the rules of the event, the hotel regulations, and the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. This is to maintain a good image for the event, the furry fandom, and of course, for yourself.
  2. Participants must respect others, including the SiamPaws team, volunteers, hotel staff, and hotel guests. We do not support any form of violence, including physical or verbal abuse, or any form of harassment towards participants, the team, volunteers, hotel staff, and hotel guests. Additionally, if you are not staying near the event venue, booking accommodations early is essential.
  3. All participants must wear their event badge at all times within the SiamPaws event area. The SiamPaws team reserves the right to request a badge check when deemed necessary. Badge swapping is strictly prohibited. Anyone attempting to forge badges or trespass into the event area without authorization will be dealt with to the fullest extent.
  4. All participants should ask for permission before taking photos, hugging, or touching others, and respect their personal space.
  5. No obscene or indecent behavior is allowed in public spaces.
  6. Any damage caused to the venue by participants, whether intentional or not, will be the responsibility of the participant. No food or drinks are allowed to be brought into the event area, except for water provided by the event or at the café. Please help us keep the event area clean.
  7. Participants must be over 18 years old.
  8. The event does not support any actions that make others feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Rules regarding safety, prohibited items, and costume accessories.

  1. No drugs of any kind, including cannabis, are allowed in the event area, nor the use of any drugs inside the event area or hotel. Violators will be prosecuted under the law immediately.
  2. Weapons, weapon-like objects, explosives, or dangerous items of any kind, including costume accessories that the event team deems may pose a danger, are not allowed in the event area.
  3. Please smoke only in designated smoking areas, and kindly remind all participants that all types of e-cigarettes are illegal in Thailand.
  4. Please drink alcohol responsibly and only in your hotel room or in areas where it is permitted.
  5. Participants must strictly follow the instructions of the SiamPaws team or hotel staff.
  6. Any violation of the law by participants will result in immediate legal action.
  7. Costume accessories made from metal or resin are not allowed inside the event area.
  8. Please do not extend, point, or direct your costume accessories toward other participants without permission to prevent accidents.
  9. Fursuits and large costume accessories are not allowed inside the Dealer’s Den.
  10. The event team may mark your costume accessories. Tampering with or removing the mark will be considered as revoking your permission to wear them.

Dress Code Rules for the Event

  1. Attire at the event and hotel must be respectful and appropriate, with no nudity or revealing outfits, except in the following cases, which are only allowed within the event area:
    • Form-fitting attire for costumes (Latex, etc.)
    • Costume accessories that reference sexual preferences (Pup hoods, harnesses, wrist straps)
    • Underwear worn over outer clothing
    • Leashes and collars are only permitted with Fursuits.
  2. No clothing that suggests political movements, organizations, or anything else that could cause conflicts is allowed.
  3. Military, police, or any uniform related to national security services are not allowed to avoid misunderstandings.

Fursuit Lounge Usage Rules

  1. Only Fursuiters and one registered assistant are allowed to use and access the Fursuit Lounge.
  2. To enter the Fursuit Lounge, attendees must wear a Fursuit or scan their badge to verify access rights.
  3. No photography and/or audio recording is allowed within the Fursuit Lounge.
  4. Please keep your belongings tidy. The staff reserves the right to move your belongings without prior notice to ensure convenience for other participants.

Rules regarding photography and audio recording within the event area

  1. Photos and videos recorded by the SiamPaws team will be used for promotion and published on SiamPaws' official channels.
  2. Participants who do not wish to have their photos or videos recorded are kindly requested to avoid walking through areas where cameras will record.
  3. Participants are kindly requested to ask for permission before taking photos of other participants.

Rules regarding the rights of the SiamPaws team

  1. The SiamPaws team reserves the right to remove participants who violate the event rules or do not follow the instructions of the team or hotel staff from the event area, with no refunds in any case.
  2. The SiamPaws team is not responsible for any damage to your property or any damage caused to the venue by the participants.
  3. All of the above rules are subject to change based on the situation and the discretion of the SiamPaws team. The SiamPaws team reserves the right to modify these rules without prior notice.
  4. The decision of the SiamPaws team is final.
