First-Time Attendee Guide

We are thrilled to be a part of your first-ever Furry convention experience! If you've never attended one of these events before, you're in the right place. Let us explain what it's all about.

Furry is a community of people who are interested in anthropomorphic characters, meaning characters that have human-like qualities or behaviors. These can include things like walking on two legs, talking, wearing clothes, or showing facial expressions. We often create our own fictional characters called Fursonas to represent ourselves within the Furry fandom.

A Furry convention, or FurCon for short, is a gathering of Furries coming together to engage in various activities, whether it's singing, dancing, showcasing special talents, meeting new friends, or participating in panels on topics that interest you. Even if you're not too into the activities, you can still volunteer to help others enjoy the event!

1. You'll need an ID card or any other form of identity verification (such as a passport) because we need to verify that you are who you say you are. ><
2. Of course! If you don't live near the event venue, booking accommodation early is very important.
3. Pocket money for food and other expenses. If you're interested in the items in the Dealer's Den, make sure you have enough ready, because you'll find many things tempting!
4. We have water stations available at various points throughout the event. But if you bring your own water bottle, we appreciate you helping reduce waste for the planet. <3
5. If you're a Fursuiter, you are more than welcome to wear your fursuit at our event! But don't worry if you don't have one, you will still have a blast with everything we have planned!
6. Finally, don't forget to capture those wonderful memories with your friends using your camera!
